Had a bit of time on my day off yesterday to play around with a great morphing tool (which is freeware for the Mac Computer). If you want to create your own movie, here is a tutorial on how to do it…

It has finally happened: My trusted old 60GB iPod is full - every last Byte squeezed out. 13513 songs it says. And those songs include several Spanish courses, hundreds of podcast episodes and a full audio Bible.
What to do?
A. Deselect a good chunk of the songs on my hard drive so they won’t sync with the iPod anymore [but of course one of the beauties of the large capacity was that I always had my complete music collection with me!]
B. Stop buying new CDs and downloads. [even harder now that Amazon has started selling mp3s without coypright protection, at a higher resolution and often at lower prices than iTunes! And you need to understand that as the person in charge of music in my church I have to keep up with new music!]
C. Buy a new iPod (the Classic has a capacity of 120 GB - so I could double my present collection.
Having looked so hard at all the options you will surely agree that there is only one viable way forward

What’s on your mp3 player?
Let’s play a little game: If you have an mp3 player, turn it to ’shuffle’, ‘random’ or whatever the mode is called with yours. Then reply to us with your list of the first five songs/pieces that come up - no censoring allowed…
Oh yes, and as soon as we have the first reply here, I will publish my five titles…

Es ist also endlich passiert: Mein guter alter 60GB iPod ist voll - bis an den Rand. 13513 songs um genau zu sein. Das schließt ein paar Spanischkurse, hunderte von Podcasts und eine komplette Audiobibel mit ein.
Was tun?
A. Einen guten Teil meiner Festplattenliedersammlung (schönes langes deutsches Wort!) abwählen, so dass diese Stücke nicht mehr mit dem iPod synchronisiert werden. (Aber das Schöne an einem großen iPod war ja, dass ich immer meine komplette Musiksammlung bei mir hatte!)
B. Keine neuen CDs und Musikdownloads mehr kaufen (noch schwerer, da Amazon jetzt in England mp3s verkauft - ohne Kopierschutz, höhere Auflösung und oft billiger als iTunes! Und ihr werdet sicherlich verstehen, dass ich als der Verantwortliche für Musik in unserer Gemeinde auf dem Laufenden bleiben muss!)
C. Neuen iPod Classic kaufen - 120 GB Kapazität, da kann ich also meine Musiksammlung verdoppeln!
Bein genauerer Betrachtung der Optionen kommt eigentlich nur eine Lösung in Frage - oder?

Hier ist eine sehr nützliche Webseite für Menschen, die gerne kooperative schreiben, oder möchten, dass andere ihre Texte überarbeiten und kommentieren:
Writeboard ist eine ganz einfache (und deshalb schnelle) online Textverarbeitung. Die gespeicherten Texte kann man von jedem Computer mit Netzzugang wieder aufrufen. Der Clou ist, dass man andere einladen kann, an einem Textprojekt mitzuwirken oder Kommentare abzugeben. Alle Versionen eines Textes werden gespeichert und man kann sogar vergleichen, wo Änderungen vorgenommen wurden.
MITMACHEN! Hier ist der Beginn eines Gedichts - klick doch einfach auf den Link und schreib die nächste(n) Zeile(n) und wir werden sehen was für ein poetisches Meisterwerk schließlich entsteht! (Das Passwort heißt Gedicht)
