Jetzt kann Weihnachten also doch noch kommen - vor 36 Stunden ist unsere Waschmaschine durch die Gegend gehuepft und hat “Wasser gelassen” und hat Christophs guten Wollpullover zerstoert…gerade vor einer Stunde kam die neue Maschine an - nieder mit them Internethandel - es lebe der oertliche Einzelhandel!!! Trotzdem bin ich ein Fan von Amazon….

Christmas can come after all….our washing machine broke down 36 hours ago: a lot of jumping, leaking of water and ruining one of Christoph’s wooly jumpers….the new “Bosch” machine arrived just an hour ago - down with internet shopping, long live local buisness!!! However I am still a fan of Amazon….

Nach Wochen harter Arbeit ist sie endlich fertig unsere zweite Kinder CD von St James, dieses Mal ausschliesslich mit Liedern aus “eigenem Hause” - geschrieben, gesungen, gespielt von Mitgliedern unserer Gemeinde - schaut doch einmal rein!

Nach einer Sendepause von vier (!) Jahren sind wir wieder auf Sendung - mit einem einfachen Blog, der hoffentlich aktueller bleibt als die alte Seite und euch dazu einlaedt, mitzureden - also: registrieren, anmelden und antworten, bitte!

Ich lese gerade Tom Hollands Buch ueber den Untergang der roemischen Republik und da bin ich heute ueber den folgenden Absatz gestolpert. Er beschreibt die antiroemische Stimmung in weiten Teilen des Reiches im ersten Jahrhundert v. Chr.
